Turning 43 never felt so good thanks to my fabulous family and wonderful girl friends!  Thank you to everyone who shared this birthday with me - I will always cherish the time.

We had a really good time at Trinity Hall at Mockingbird Station...very relaxing.  Thanks girls for the memories!

Gay Lynn took me to dinner on Saturday at Mi Cocina.  I had never been there...it is a delightful place with great fajitas...yum!  We then went to Home Goods and Target - needless to say I enjoyed my self.

Sweet Embellished T's

I knew that I wanted to embellish some simple t's for Zoe's birthday present - so when we were invited to the her 2 year birthday party the morning of,  I whipped 3 t's up rather quickly.  One for my precious Parker Faith (3yr) and two for Zoe Faith (2yr).  The difficult part for me is making decisions on what fabric combinations to use.  Here is what I came up with.

Zoe's mommy loved the t's, but especially the cupcake one.

I love surfing blogs for great ideas! Thank you to Shanty2Chic for posting the blog that I hope pushes me into making some furniture.  If you love Pottery Barn Furniture you MUST check out http://knockoffwood.blogspot.com/.  Ana, the editor at knockoffwood, is a carpenter who makes knock off furniture on the cheap...and she is generous enough to share her detailed plans with the blogging world! Not only does she offer the plans for FREE, she gives you the exact cutting deminsions, a supply list and detailed how to's on many techniques she uses when building! Shanty2Chic shares that Home Depot will cut everything for FREE as well, so why not make something.  Ana's plans are limitless - so many - where does a girl start...?  Maybe I can start with this bench - I am sure it would look great in my house.

Tutu Cute

I was so excited when my great friend, Stacey, asked me to make her, soon to be two, daughter's (Zoe Faith) birthday party invitation.  It is for a small intimate group at home.  I am very happy with how it turned out as is Stacey.  FYI ...I used photoshop elements 7 and Stacey's  sweet, sweet pictures to create it.

Mike's Office Picture

I have to share what I created for my Mike (the best father, husband, friend, and so much more) for Christmas .  Let me just say that he would rather money not be spent on him, so I got in the kids Christmas photo shoot so that I could make a poster/framed art for his new office (not in it yet - but soon).  I have found that COSTCO has a poster printing machine onsite and the prices and options are great.  I  bought a simple frame at Target that will be great in his office (kind of manly) and I look forward to seeing him enjoy it. 

Home Remedy

GOOD MORNING!!!  Back to work I go....I knew that I would be up in the chair without some form of acid reflux medicine last night.  So I IM'd my great friend Steph and she directed me to the Arm&Hammer box.  Well, needless to say, with a box as small as it - I didn't find a remedy on the box...so I went directly to the web source and found their solution.  IT WORKED!!!  I am so excited!  Check it out yourself. http://www.armhammer.com/basics/magic/#12
